Concrete Services

Foundations engineered for the structure they'll carry for decades

From footings and foundation walls to full new-construction foundation systems, we build the structural base every other decision on your project depends on.

Overview

Foundation installation covers the broader structural foundation work a building needs — footings, foundation walls, crawlspace foundations, and the structural base for additions — beyond the more specific case of a monolithic slab-on-grade (which we handle as a distinct service, since it calls for different engineering and sequencing). Every project starts from an engineer's foundation plan, and our job is executing that plan with precision.

This is the part of a project almost no one sees once it's finished, which makes it the part where cutting corners is most tempting and most dangerous. We hold foundation work to the same standard regardless of whether it will ever be visible again: correct excavation depth, properly compacted footing beds, accurate reinforcement placement, and formwork that produces true, plumb walls.

For premium residential and commercial clients, foundation work is also where project timelines are won or lost — a foundation built out of sequence or out of tolerance cascades into delays and cost overruns for every trade that follows. We coordinate closely with architects, structural engineers, and general contractors to keep foundation work on schedule and in spec.

Our Foundations Process

01

Plan Review & Engineering Coordination

We review the structural engineer's foundation plan and coordinate any site-specific adjustments before excavation begins.

02

Excavation & Footing Layout

Excavation is completed to the specified depth and footing locations are laid out and verified against the plan.

03

Footing & Wall Reinforcement

Reinforcement is placed to engineered spec for footings and foundation walls, inspected before concrete is placed.

04

Concrete Placement

Footings and walls are poured, vibrated, and finished according to the structural specification and project timeline.

05

Waterproofing, Backfill & Inspection

Foundation walls are waterproofed as specified, backfill is placed and compacted correctly, and the work is prepared for inspection sign-off.

Signs You Need Foundations

  • A new home, addition, or accessory structure that needs a full foundation system built from an engineer's plan.
  • A commercial or institutional building requiring footings and foundation walls sequenced with a broader construction schedule.
  • An existing foundation requiring structural repair or a new foundation section tied into an addition.
  • A project where the general contractor needs a foundation subcontractor who will hold precise tolerances and schedule discipline.

Materials & Techniques

Engineered footing systems

Reinforced concrete footings sized and placed to the structural engineer's specification for the load above.

Poured concrete foundation walls

Formed and reinforced walls for basements, crawlspaces, and structural foundation systems.

Foundation waterproofing

Membrane or coating systems applied to below-grade foundation walls to manage moisture intrusion.

Why Elite Concrete Contractors for Foundations

Foundations projects only look effortless when the sub-base, reinforcement, and finish work are executed with real precision. We bring a design consultation, a detailed written proposal, and a final walkthrough to every foundation installation project — the same process whether it's a single walkway repair or a full estate installation.

Foundation Installation FAQ

Yes — foundation installation is always plan-driven. We review the structural drawings, flag any site-specific issues we identify during excavation, and build to the engineered specification.
